The late Ricky Hendrick coined the word “Dramastic”, which he said was a combination of Dramatic and Drastic. Those of us who were close to him used this word as a bit of a code word between us after he died. It held a special place in our hearts and minds, and when anyone would use it, we’d give each other a little smile knowing where the word originated. Dramastic was even used on Ricky Hendrick memorial hats and other apparel for a time. That leads me to the other day, when I happened to be watching SportsCenter, and couldn’t believe my ears!
