So many people are so angry these days. Such urgency about Earthly concerns, and no effort towards Heavenly pursuits. Creating their own drama so they can feel righteous. As for me, I’m quiet, still, and confident as I know where my house has been built. Is that arrogant or boastful? No, because I am nothing. I am a terrible sinner. My righteousness is ONLY built into my obedience to Jesus Christ. Having said that, I’m very thankful I don’t have to worry or obsess about politics or be manipulated by those profiting from the current discord in our great country. Guard your hearts and minds from the enemy. Don’t believe the hype. The devil is lying to you, and you’re buying it. How can I tell it’s the devil? Because God doesn’t create hopelessness and helplessness. God doesn’t make people feel inferior. Jesus taught us how to regard the government, and we’d do well to heed His advice. Focus on God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit. This is not your home. The battle has already been won!
