My Showcar Department at Hendrick Motorsports was contracted to build a #24 DuPont car to support the movie Racing Stripes. Many people would be surprised at the number of television and movie shoots we are a part of, and it is definitely a growing thing for us. It’s usually demanding, but it’s also cool to see your work when it’s all done and on the big screen. It makes a cool perk for my guys to be able to show their families what they do on such a large scale when the movies are finally released. It sure changes the way their kids look at them when they realize their parent helped make a movie!
