Todd Rose

A beautiful human being and one of the lights of my life died a year ago today. Todd Rose was a reliable source of comfort and kindness. His calm and peaceful demeanor was so refreshing, and his smile was purely infectious. He always gave more than he took, and what he gave was freely given. There was no day Todd could not make better. He always left an impact on those around him. I don’t eulogize all of my friends here, but for those who have left me with such deep, meaningful, positive change, I can’t help but say a few words. You and our talks will always be missed my friend. I loved you.

Four days after his death, Todd’s life was paid tribute to on the Hendrick Motorsports “Always In Our Hearts” decal on Jimmie Johnson’s #48 Lowe’s car. It was very touching to see Todd’s name on the winning car in Victory Lane, and later on our win sticker for the race.

Welcome to my online home since 2004. I blog a bit about my life as it happens, my work as I am permitted, and occasional throwback entries. When I'm not writing new posts, I actively curate this blog, improving the wording or adding new media to old posts, and finally finishing old drafts I've left sitting for years. It is not my intention to be a source of news or content. I don’t have anything to sell, and I’m not trying to get likes/shares/follows. This site is an autobiographical effort - imperfections and all. My life, remembered in my words, my way.
