From an upcoming episode of AmeriCarna, Rick Hendrick and Ray Evernham discuss Days of Thunder and the #46 City Chevrolet car, now housed in the Hendrick Heritage Center. Having been involved in the filming of the movie originally, managed the restoration of this car, and now managing the building it is displayed in, this episode brings much of my career together. I’ve got a whole lot of myself invested in that car (See 20th Anniversary of Days of Thunder), so not only is it Rick Hendrick’s favorite movie car, it’s mine too!
