Sir Rosevelt Sunday Finest Video

Though I’ve been gone from Hendrick Motorsports for 3 years, I stay in close touch with several departments and individuals there, and still make myself available as a resource for them. Recently, I saw this video and immediately recognized some of the cars, and one of the extras. Rick Hendrick is friends with Zac Brown, and this is Zac’s latest side project away from The Zac Brown Band. This band is called Sir Rosevelt, and is a bit of a different sound than we’re used to from Zac. The song is catchy, and it’s always cool to see cars I worked on/with/around in a music video, especially the particular 1970 Chevelle Rick Hendrick is driving in this video. That one car was previously in music videos for Old Alabama by Brad Paisley, and Together Anything Is Possible by Darius Rucker. It’s a spectacular car, one of my favorites from Rick’s collection, and has now become a bit of a star of its own! This video is a little bit racy compared to the rest of my website, so be forewarned!

EDITED October 15, 2022 to remove the old broken video link and add this new one:

Welcome to my online home since 2004. I blog a bit about my life as it happens, my work as I am permitted, and occasional throwback entries. When I'm not writing new posts, I actively curate this blog, improving the wording or adding new media to old posts, and finally finishing old drafts I've left sitting for years. It is not my intention to be a source of news or content. I don’t have anything to sell, and I’m not trying to get likes/shares/follows. This site is an autobiographical effort - imperfections and all. My life, remembered in my words, my way.
