My showcar drivers do their best to keep people from touching the Lowe’s showcars as they take them around the country. We don’t let people touch the cars, and we sure can’t let them sit inside for liability reasons. A few flips of a few switches, and they’d be in control of a 800 horsepower car built like a tank, in a crowded, public place. That’s not good for anybody. Wouldn’t you know it, our luck was bound to run out, as this dummy climbed into the #48 Lowe’s showcar earlier this year. Unbelievable! I don’t think Jimmie Johnson has anything to worry about though!
Some dummy in the #48 Lowe’s car!

Welcome to my online home since 2004. I blog a bit about my life as it happens, my work as I am permitted, and occasional throwback entries. When I'm not writing new posts, I actively curate this blog, improving the wording or adding new media to old posts, and finally finishing old drafts I've left sitting for years. It is not my intention to be a source of news or content. I don’t have anything to sell, and I’m not trying to get likes/shares/follows. This site is an autobiographical effort - imperfections and all. My life, remembered in my words, my way.
