I got stuck in an elevator again today. It’s the second time it’s happened to me – in the same elevator! Having had an opportunity to learn first-hand how elevators are built and operate, it’s not that scary to be stuck in one. It isn’t fun, but it isn’t a reason to panic either. Both times I’ve been stuck, I was able to guide people on the outside to get the doors open so I could escape. One of my all-time favorite quotes from my Dad applies here – “Remain calm.” That’s great advice that applies to a lot of things in life!
