*One of Mary Myrick’s best recipes*
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- 2 Tbs. vinegar
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 tsp. mustard
- 2 Tbs. flour
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Brown ground beef, onions and celery in skillet. Drain off the fat. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil while stirring. Spoon onto hamburger buns. Top with shredded cheese, if desired.
