Now that we’re hopefully in the clear, just a quick post to tell everyone about Lola and Buddy. They got into something, we’re still not sure what, that made them very, very ill. Lola got the worst of it, and she has been sick since Sunday evening. Buddy fared far better, but he’s been sick since early Monday morning. There was a point where we had the very real thought of losing both of them at the same time. Everything is much improved now, and today Lola ate food for the first time since Sunday night, so we were able to take her to have the IV catheter removed from her leg. We’re not back to normal yet, but we are getting there.

Once again, the staff at our Vet’s office, Poplar Animal Hospital, rocked our socks, and proved why they’re not only the best in the universe at their job, but they’re also our friends. Incredible people that genuinely care about our kids like they’re part of their own family.
